Information about progress and the results of the WP1 

The most important result from the WP1 is new algorithms about segmentation and analysis of the heart chambers and aorta.

Thus, two new approaches are currently developed; one for the whole heart segmentation while the other is aimed at the determination of the left ventricle functional parameters. Since those conference papers are still unpublished (yet, accepted for publication), details about them will be published here when possible.

 


 

Information about progress and the results of the WP2 

The WP2 is aimed at development of the algorithms for the segmentation and analysis of the atrium and left atrial appendage.

 

The paper describing novel method for
left atrial appendage segmentation from 3D CCTA images for occluder placement procedure was published in Elseviers journal Computers in Biology and Medicine. The paper is available at:

The scope of the WP3 is segmentation and analysis of coronary arteries and epicardial fat quantification. Work is in progess.
